Federal Work Study

The Federal Work Study (FWS) is a federally subsidized program awarded to undergraduate students based on their financial needs. Through the FWS program, students engage in work for the university or non-profit organizations as defined by the federal government.

Students employed through the FWS program not only provide essential services to the university or the community, but also have the opportunity to secure positions which may relate to their educational objectives, or enable them to gain valuable work experience.
