Our IPFW Peer Educator Program is designed to offer IPFW students health and wellness education, awareness, and support that promotes academic success, student retention, positive health attitudes, and health-enhancing behaviors.
Currently applications are being accepted for the 2012-2013 IPFW Peer Educator positions (8-10 hours/week).
- These positions are for IPFW students who have or are getting the Bacchus Network Peer Education Certification Training.
- The positions are for IPFW students who have a high interest in healthy living and would enjoy the opportunity to be a peer health advocate.
- Work time will mainly focus on programming related to mental health, responsible alcohol use, abuse prevention, healthy relationships, STD prevention, tobacco prevention/cessation, being physically fit, and healthy eating.
