English, Math, and Reading
Students admitted to IPFW must follow the writing guided self-placement process and take the math placement test before registering for courses. Academic advisors will use placement test results to help students in planning their courses for their first semester. Transfer and/or non degree students who have taken English composition and/or math at another college or university should check with the Admissions office about placement requirements.
Scheduling
English, math, and reading placement tests may be scheduled by calling 260-481-6600. English, math, and reading placement tests are given during the following days and times:

Placement testing times can be subject to change based on availability and/or test length.
Students should arrive 15 minutes ahead of their scheduled appointment. Students arriving late will be asked to reschedule their testing appointment.
The testing room temperatures may vary. It is advisable to bring a sweater or jacket.
Childcare arrangements must be made prior to the day and time of the exam. We are sorry, but children are not allowed in the testing facilities.
Students requiring test accommodations based on disability should contact the Director of Testing Services at least seven (7) business days before the scheduled test date. Disability documentation may be required.
