Computer-based Exams

Cell phones are not allowed at the testing stations. Please make the appropriate arrangements for storing cell phones.

A photo ID is required in order to test.

MAT (Miller Analogies Test)

The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) can be scheduled by contacting Testing Services at 260-481-6600 for an appointment. Students retaking the MAT will be required to bring a retest admission ticket from the Psychological Corporation. Students needing test accommodations based on disability, should contact the Director of Testing Services at least seven (7) business days before the scheduled test date. Disability documentation may be required. The cost of the MAT is $70.00.  If the exam fee is paid by a credit card, you will need to pay online by clicking here on any computer. We are sorry but Testing Services is not able to accept credit card or cash payments in the office. Please allow 90 minutes for the exam. MAT information is available in Kettler Hall, Room 232, or on the Psychological Corporation Website. 

CLEP (College Level Examination Program)

IPFW is a national testing site for the College Level Examination Program (CLEP). Testing Services offers all CLEP examinations; however, not all exams may be accepted as credit at IPFW. Students should check with the appropriate institution to be sure CLEP credit is accepted.

Testing Services welcomes your interest in the College Level Examination Program. Exam dates for both General and Subject areas are printed below. All tests are timed. Students should allow approximately 90 minutes per exam. A maximum of two exams may be taken per exam date. All exams begin at 8:30 a.m. Photo ID's are required in order to test.

The test fee for each examination is $80.00 made payable to the College Level Examination Program, plus a separate service fee of $20.00 per examination made payable to IPFW.   If an optional essay is required by the reporting institution, there will be a $10.00 additional charge per essay made payable to IPFW.  CLEP will not accept cash. The essay will be scored by the institution requiring the essay portion. The registration form and check or money order must be received in the IPFW Testing Services office, by the deadline date and time (see below for test and deadline dates). If the separate exam service fee is paid by a credit card, you will need to pay online by clicking here on any computer. We are sorry but Testing Services is not able to accept credit card or cash payments in the office. Testing Services is unable to accept registrations by telephone. Registrations may be faxed to the Testing Services office. The fax number is 260-481-4155. Students need to state on the registration form that authorization is being granted to CLEP and IPFW for the appropriate amount of charges. SAT (Scholastic Achievement Test)

2013 SAT Test Dates

National SAT exams are given at area high schools. Dates and registration for National SAT can be obtained by visiting the College Board Website. SAT registration information is also available in Testing Services, Kettler Hall, Room 232.
