Use easels to stand poster advertisements and messages around campus. Submit a request through AVTS and have it delivered to the SORC, we are here from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every weekday.
Capture the campus's attention as students walk under scrolling messages next to the library. Use the EBM to display special event announcements sponsored by your organization.

Bulletin Boards, Tack Strips, and Glass Panels
Hang posters and fliers on the bulletin boards in the stairwells, hallways, and glass entry doors.
- Only 50 flyers per event and 1 flyer per location.
- Flyers can stay up for 2 weeks on bulletin boards and one week on glass entry doors.
- All flyers MUST have Date of Posting clearly written on the flyers.
Sidewalk Posting
Put your group's event info at student's feet as they walk to a from classes and meetings!
Student Housing
Advertise of the Student Housing movie channel. Submit a Power Point slide to the SORC with the event's essential information (Organization name and contact info, event description, location, time, and date). Use this template (Power Point) but get creative!
Also bring up to 75 flyers/posters to Cole Commons and RA's will post them throughout the resident halls. Remember, groups can print for free in the SORC!
Flyer Advice
Students in Learning Communities are required to engage the community in some type of extra-curricular service as a course requirement; if your group is interested in visiting these classes to promote special events contact the SORC and let us know!
Mailings can be distributed to all IPFW faculty and staff without labels. Off-campus mailings or specific on-campus mailings require labels and postage. Contact the SORC if your group is considering this option.
Mastodon Minutes
Contact the Mastodon Minutes if your group wants to be featured in IPFW's weekly news show.
The Communicator
Contact IPFW's student newspaper if your group wants to feature paid advertisement or news release.
Keep in mind that you will need to sell your story, make sure the producer/publisher knows why your event is newsworthy. View the University Relations and Communications press release guidelines.
Contact the University Relations and Communications for contact with off campus media outlets.
IPFW Printing Services provides a broad range of printing options if your group is creating banners, posters, coupon books, pamphlets, etc.
