Active Minds

  • Purposes and Goals of Organization:
    To increase awareness among IPFW students about issues of mental health, symptoms of mental illness, and available resources in and around the IPFW community.
  • Membership Dues and Obligations:
    Dues will be $5 per year. Members must be a student at IPFW to vote or hold office.

African Student Organization

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization:
    To educate IPFW students on the diverse cultures, thoughts, and issues of Africans through various social and cultural activities.

    Open to any college student. Membership fee required.

Amateur Radio Club

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization:
    The Amateur Radio Club teaches the practical application of radio theory, electrical theory, and procedures. Its purpose is to study the aspects of modern amateur radio and how it is used in emergency and worldwide communications.

 Anime 101

  • Pupose and Goals of Organization:
    To promote interest in Japanese Animation, provide safe and fun events and activities for members and community and to encourage personal growth and pursuit of various hobbies.
  • Membership Requirements and Obligations:
    Membership is open to all IPFW students and non-students. One-half membership may consist of non-students.

Autism Speaks U - IPFW

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization:
    Autism Speaks U IPFW aims to further the mission of Autism Speaks by engaging the campus and local community in awareness, advocacy and fundraising efforts to help individuals and families affected by autism.
  • Membership Requirements and Obligations:
    Voting members must be enrolled in credit hours at IPFW and membership dues will equal $2 semester $3 for the year.

Bangladesh Students Association

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization:
    To provide academic, social, and cultural support to the Bangladeshi students and to cultivate a spirit of unity and friendship between Bangladeshi and all other students at IPFW.
  • Membership Requirements and Obligations:
    Must be a current student at IPFW. Membership fee consist of $10 per semester.

    Bangladesh Night, New Year Celebration.

  BigHeart Club, The

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization: 
    To volunteer in the local community by participating in IPFW and Fort Wayne events as well as supporting community needs with donation events.
  • Membership Requirements and Obligations:
    $2 yearly dues, members must attend a minimum of 2 meetings per year, and volunteer at a minimum of 2 activities per year.

    Food, clothing, supply drives, meetings, soup kitchen, mentoring, trip to Haiti

 Big Brothers Big Sisters of IPFW

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization: 
    Further the Big Brothers Big Sisters mission, deepen relationships between members, organize events for Bigs and Little's, develop leadership skills of college students, and educate the college community.
  • Membership Requirements and Obligations:
    No Annual Dues. Members must attend 1 meeting per month. May be expelled for conduct unbecoming and for violations of student code of conduct or failing to meet requirements of mentoring commitments.

Black Collegian Caucus

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization: 
    The members of the Black Collegian Caucus are dedicated to the cultural and educational development of the individual within the context of the university community. Our focus will be to explore the rich heritage and culture of African-Americans, to draw knowledge and strength from this history, and to celebrate the lives and contributions of our people. It is through learning that we create, build, and find hope for a better future and a richer university community.

    Attend meetings, participate, uphold constitution, maintaining a non-discriminatory policy.

    All White Attire Party, conferences, Student Housing Block Party.
