Purpose and Goals of Organization: The Fort Wayne Chapter of the IEEE is committed to the professional development of its members through promotion of scholarship and service activities. Scholarship activities focus on developing the knowledge of our members so that they will be more competitive upon entering the workplace. Service activities aim to improve the stature of the engineering profession in our society as well as build ties between members of our local community. Both types of activities serve the overall mission of the university as well.

Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society
Purpose and Goals of Organization: The purpose of the organization is to provide an opportunity for student interested in chemistry and chemical engineering at this campus to become better acquainted; to stimulate the intellectual curiosity that arises from professional and association; to obtain experience in preparing and presenting technical material before chemically oriented audiences; to foster a professional spirit among the members and to instill a professional pride in chemstry and chemical engineering.
Membership Requirements and Obligations: We require a $5.00 due from each member. Open to all IPFW students.
Purpose and Goals of Organization: To be an organized community and resource for dental hygiene. To be an effectively governed association. To work in partnership with the dental community to advance oral health. To advance through effective advocacy by the ADA (American Dental Hygienists' Association).
Membership Requirements and Obligations: Membership is granted to any student who is: 1. Currently enrolled in an accredited dental hygiene program, or 2. Who has graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program and is currently pursuing a baccalaureate or graduate degree complementary to a career in dental hygiene in an accredited college or institution of higher education. 3. Membership Requirements and Obligations: Any IPFW student (full or part-time) who pays the membership fee of $20.00 by October 31, 2012 is admitted to the organization for the term of one (1) academic year. Failure to pay/renew membership at the end of one (1) year shall result in revocation of membership. Any IPFW student wishing to join STAT after October 31, 2012 shall pay a $10.00 membership fee. These "half" members will not receive a membership t-shirt or collector glass for the academic year, but will receive all other benefits.
