The Student Life office is dedicated to the enhancement and advancement of IPFW students by providing co-curricular opportunities which compliment academic pursuits and learning beyond the classroom. The Student Life staff seeks to provide an atmosphere, where students not only learn, but are challenged, supported and heard. With this mission, the Student Life office promotes the personal and professional development of IPFW students, the leaders of today and tomorrow.
The Student Life Office plans, implements, and assesses programming designed to foster student learning and development, enhance community, and promote student satisfaction.
In addition, the department encourages and assists student organizations in planning, implementing, and assessing programming for those purposes. Student Life works in partnership with student government in the recognition of student organizations; provides leadership development training for students and student organizations; recommends policies related to the development and management of student organizations; allocates space to student organizations; provides training and support for student organization advisors; and serves as a liaison between student organizations and IPFW administrative and academic units.
Student Life plays a significant role in directing the presentation of IPFW's New Student Orientation program. The department oversees the Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) program; authorizes non-University postings on campus; maintains a calendar for student events on campus; provides rental information for off-campus housing; and assists in other IPFW activities, services, and programs as requested and assigned.

Director
Krissy Creager
The Director of Student Life is responsible for the facilitation of services and programs in the Student Life office. Specifically, the Director oversees leadership initiatives: beginner, intermediate & advanced workshops; the first-year student leadership retreat; servant leadership & community engagement programs, New Student Orientation and budget/office management.
As well, the Director facilitates the the Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) program designed to document the accomplishments and experiences students have outside of the classroom while attending IPFW.
In addition, the Director hires and trains the New Student Orientation Assistants, serves as the chair of the Freshmen Fest committee, is a member of the Advisory Committee for the Chancellor's Ambassadon program, and serves on various university committees.

Assistant Director
Jennifer Oxtoby
The Assistant Director of Student Life is responsible for overseeing various student programming opportunities in the Student Life office. The Assistant Director primarily collaborates with faculty and staff to support student success and retention through the use of MAP-Works (Making Achievement Possible), in addition to coordinating a mentoring program to support intervention data, retention, and student engagement, and providing campus-wide training, coaching and monitoring for all MAP-Works students.
The Assistant Director also manages marketing and promotional materials for leadership and retention programs; assists in the execution of IPFW New Student Orientation; supervises student workers and peer mentors; as well as serves on various university committees, including the Chancellor’s Ambassadon Advisory Committee

The Activities Coordinator serves as a resource for students and student organizations by assisting recognized student organizations with planning, implementing and assessing campus-wide programs; advises student organizations regarding University policies, procedures and the utilization of campus resources; coordinates the training and annual recognition for student organizations; assists, coordinates and facilitates campus programs and special events; maintains student organization records, processes paperwork and assists in the daily operations of the Student Life office.
