Cassie has been at IPFW since 2008. She was originally recruited as a student-athlete from California for the softball team at IPFW. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal Communication with a minor in Psychology and her Master's of Science Degree in Education with a concentration in School Counseling. While attending IPFW, she was very involved with athletics, intramural sports, multiple committees and volunteer opportunities. Cassie is excited to advocate for students' campus involvement and help students' achieve their academic and extracurricular goals.
In 2014, Karen came back "home" to IPFW where she received her Bachelor's Degree in General Studies prior to earning her Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Lourdes University (Ohio). After many years of helping students find the "right fit" in their college choice as an Admissions Counselor, she is very excited to help students find this fit now as an academic advisor.
Lynette came to IPFW in 2007 and has worked in the First Year Experience and Student Life Offices prior to coming to SST. She has a wide-array of institutional knowledge and enjoys the daily interaction with a wide array of students. She is originally from Michigan and loves watching football and dabbling in photography.
Krissy completed her Ph.D. in Global Leadership in Higher Education at Indiana Tech and holds a Master's Degree in Student Development Administration from Seattle University and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Northern Arizona University. She started at IPFW in 2009 and comes to work every single day excited to challenge, support, and celebrate students throughout their journey at IPFW.
Corrie holds a Master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Ball State University. She started at IPFW in 2007 as an academic advisor after working in recruitment and retention positions at other institutions. Corrie coordinates the course withdrawal process, and Pathways Program and works closely with the New Student Orientation team. She loves working with and supporting IPFW students as they work toward accomplishing their educational goals!
Rhonda earned her Master's and Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology from Tennessee State University. She has worked at IPFW since 1991 and loves working to help encourage and empower students to succeed through college. In addition to academic advising, Rhonda oversees the day-to-day functions in SSP and serves on various institutional committees and working groups.
Kim has been serving students in advising and instructor roles at IPFW since 2005. She earned a graduate certificate in Instructional Design from University of Wisconsin in 2015; a M.A. in Professional Communication Studies at IPFW in 2006; and a B.A. with a double-major in Communication and Sociology in 2001 from Purdue University, West Lafayette. Kim brings experiences from social services as well as student affairs and faculty roles at Manchester University, Indiana Tech, and Ivy Tech Community College, giving her a holistic approach to serving students from diverse social, academic, and cultural backgrounds. She is actively interested in and involved with social justice issues and has facilitated Safe Zone/Safe Space workshops at IPFW and through a local non-profit organization that she founded to build more inclusive and welcoming organizational climates for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies. You may find her around IPFW developing student success courses, talking with student about their academic goals, working on assessment, teaching a class in Sociology or Communication, attending an event, or taking a class for fun.
Amanda came to IPFW as a transfer student and graduated from IPFW with her Bachelor’s Degree in Interpersonal & Organizational Communication and a Master’s Degree in Professional Communication. Amanda started working at IPFW in 2010 and is excited to work with students who plan to transfer to IPFW.
