IPFW hosts service engagement and regional networking conference
The Fort Wayne mayor headlined a regional conference on service engagement.
Mayor Tom Henry delivered the keynote address at the 2012 Indiana Campus Compact (ICC) Northern Regional Networking Council meeting was held on the Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne campus on September 28, 2012. Faculty, staff, and students from ICC member campuses and their invited community partners were encouraged to attend.
“We [were] excited to host the Northern Regional Networking Council meeting to show off our part of the state,” said IPFW Service Learning director Debra Barrick. “Northern Indiana is densely populated with ICC members so we [hoped] our location provide[d] an opportunity for good attendance, good communication, and good networking.”
Networking Council Meetings are a free professional development opportunity and membership benefit for ICC member campuses and their students and faculty. If your school is not a member, the non-member registration fee is $50.00 for non-member students and $150.00 all other non-members (includes all meals and materials).
