Outstanding Research Award and Featured Faculty

The IPFW Outstanding Research Award honors a faculty member for outstanding performance in research, scholarly activity, or creative endeavor. The recipient must have achieved an exceptional record of contributions to the body of knowledge or creative works in his or her discipline(s) and must have had great success in communicating the results of the work to a wide audience.

Featured Faculty is the university campaign that publicizes the range and significance of the intellectual contributions of the IPFW faculty. Each year, IPFW will select the Featured Faculty from the Outstanding Research Award nominees. The recipient of the Outstanding Research Award and the two runners up will become IPFW Featured Faculty.

The Outstanding Research Award will be presented in Fall and continue through the 2012-13 academic year. The Featured Faculty campaign begins in January and runs through December. Recipients are chosen by a faculty committee and must be tenured at the time of award. Previous recipients are not eligible.

Award letters will be mailed out in June for the Outstanding Research Award and in September for the Featured Faculty campaign.

Deadline for nominations is March 29, 2013
