Tell them what you want.

Calls to action motivate your audience to do something: attend an event, fill out a form, visit a website, or buy a ticket. Instruct your audience to do something with what they’ve read by focusing on the verb; instead of simply announcing an event, tell your readers to show up!

Direct, concise, and clear instructions are important and should be featured prominently, either in a headline, subhead, or as the closing. Let your audience know what the next steps are and why they should care to stimulate their interest and get the results you want.
