Information Technology Services (IT Services) maintains and supports Windows computers and audio/visual equipment in many classrooms on campus. Some classroom equipment is controlled via a touch panel (Crestron), other (older style stations) require the use of several remote controls for each component (DVD, VCR, projector, etc.), and others only have a projector.
We recommend that you visit the room you are using prior to teaching, in order to familiarize yourself with the equipment.
For emergency assistance with classroom technology, contact the Help Desk at 260-481-6969 or on the Crestron stations, press the "Help" button located on the touch panel.
Crestron Stations
Equipment (PC, DVD, VCR, CPS, etc.) in a Crestron station is housed inside a cabinet with the computer monitor sitting on top.
The touch panel is located on the counter of the cabinet under a small, flip-top panel. All equipment is controlled via the touch panel.
The house computer can be used or a laptop can be connected via the cables under the flip-top touch panel.

The computer is usually housed in a glass-topped instructor's station. The audio/visual equipment (DVD, VCR, etc.) is usually installed in a large metal cabinet near the station. The individual layout varies by room.
Each component is controlled by its own remote that is fastened to the cabinet.
The house computer can be used or a laptop can be connected via the cables under the flip-top touch panel.
