These are mock assignments that will not be used as real publications for IT Services. Be as clear as possible, but try to keep the documents brief. Your audience may have a wide range of skill levels, so strive for providing a balance in the amount of detail you include. Complete assignments 1 and 2. File(s) should be attached as directed above in either Word or PDF format.
Be sure to include your full name in the header of each assignment you submit.
Assignment 1 - Documentation for Self-Service Solution
Create step-by-step instructions for any three of the following choices regarding Microsoft Word 2010:
Your documentation should be written for IPFW students, faculty, and staff with the intent to be used as a "self-service solution" available online. Documentation can include screen captures to demonstrate a step, but not required.
Assignment 2 - Content for Web Publication
Write an article about a Web 2.0 topic of your choice. Examples: twitter, blogs, wikis, facebook, YouTube, Second Life, Flikr, etc.
Your content should be written with the intent to be published as an informational web page on the IT Services web site. The intended audience is IPFW faculty or students.
