On behalf of IPFW and the Fort Wayne community, we welcome you.

The Office of International Education serves as the initial contact for international students and scholars coming to IPFW in F-1 international student status and Exchange Visitors in J-1 status and remains a point of reference during your years on campus. Our emphasis is on creating a welcoming environment that, in turn, builds trust and fosters personal and intellectual growth that you can take back to your home country. We promote cross-cultural awareness and seek to build mutual respect by providing a venue for cultural, educational, and social events for students, faculty, and the community-at-large.

The Office of International Education is responsible for: the undergraduate international student application and admission process, I-20 and DS-2019 issuance for students and scholars, H-1B processing for international faculty and staff, immigration advising, social and culture advising, and many other services. We also recommend incoming students for scholarships, such as the Chancellor's Merit Award. Please make sure to stay in contact with us at all times to seek services and counseling. Our team is dedicated to support all international students and scholars at IPFW with a wide range of knowledge and experience in many areas to ease your transition to a new university and a new home in a new country. We are a home away from home for international students and scholars at IPFW.
