IPFW is a participating member in the Statewide Transfer and Articulation Committee (STAC) and has established transfer credit opportunities for courses that are “commonly offered” throughout the State of Indiana. These course transfer equivalencies are listed at Transfer IN.net
IPFW has approved articulation agreements with several universities for articulation of program graduates in numerous areas. These agreements are listed below:
B.S. with a major in Physics program to B.S.E.E. or B.S.M..E.
IUSB students who satisfactorily complete three years of study in physics may transfer credit to IPFW in either electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.Students who complete the engineering program at IPFW may transfer this credit back to IUSB to serve as the remainder of the requirements for graduation from the IUSB physics program.
Graduate nursing programs at IPFW, Purdue University Calumet (PUC), and Purdue University West Lafayette (PUWL) have established a consortium that allows students at all three sites to complete master’s programs in nursing in various specialty areas. Indiana University South Bend (IUSB) offers the Master of Science in Education with a major in special education and a concentration in Intense Intervention. IPFW provides some support courses and services for the IUSB program. Additional information is available from the Department of Professional Studies in the College of Education and Public Policy.
IPFW has a contract with Parkview Hospital which provides that students who complete the B.S. with a major in Biology (124 credit program) may seek admission to the Parkview Medical Technology program. Students who complete the Parkview program (32 credits), meet requirements for satisfactory academic performance, and maintain current registration at IPFW may seek departmental credit from the Department of Biology for the courses in the Parkview program. Completion of these credits qualifies the student to be awarded the B.S. with a major in Medical Technology from IPFW.
IPFW’s former contract with the Fort Wayne School of Radiography, and then with Parkview Hospital, to offer the clinical portion of the A.S. in Radiography ended in May, 2010. As of June 2010, the program is offered as a regular university program by IPFW, with Parkview Hospital serving as one of the clinical sites for the program.

Students can also complete the initial parts of many other programs at IPFW and transfer these credits to another campus of IU or Purdue. Additional information is available from academic advisors.
Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) offers the Master of Social Work at IPFW. IPFW serves only as a host site for the program. Additional information is available from the Social Work site coordinator in the College of Health and Human Services.
