How to Apply

To apply for admission to Purdue programs you must submit your application online through the Purdue University application portal. A $75USD non-refundable application fee is required.

The following materials are required, along with the application, for admission to programs:

  1. A copy of the first page of your passport with the passport expiration date
  2. A copy of any previously issued U.S. visas, I-94 forms, and I-20 or DS-2019 forms (if applicable)
  3. Proof of English proficiency by completing on of the following tests:
    • TOEFL (IPFW School Code: 1336)
    • IELTS
    • Certificate of completion of ELS Language Center—Program Level 112
  4. Official English proficiency examination results must be forwarded directly to Purdue Fort Wayne by the testing agency.
  5. Official University transcripts must be sent directly to the Office of Graduate Studies. The transcripts must come in a sealed envelope from the issuing institution. If not issued in English, English translations must accompany the official transcripts.

  6. Certification of Financial Support with supporting bank statements or proof of sponsorship (see Tuition and Fees); the financial guarantee needs to equal or exceed the cost of attendance.
  7. Dependent’s Information Form, if you will be bringing a spouse and/or dependent children with you to the U.S.
