Leave a Legacy Program

Leave a Legacy is a national annual campaign in partnership with the Planned Giving Council of Northern Indiana (PGCNI) during the month of November. November is National Philanthropy Month.

Purpose:

• Promote awareness of the need for everyone to have a will or estate plan.
• Encourage charitable giving from estates.

PGCNI combines with several sites in Fort Wayne for events usually during the second week in November.

Write-A-Will Event

In partnership with PGCNI, IPFW hosts a day each November when area attorneys assist in writing a simple will.  This service is free of charge when a charitable gift bequest is designated in the will.
