Friends of IPFW

The Friends of Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne is an arm of the IPFW Foundation, a not-for-profit corporation designed to receive gifts for the development of this campus.  The purpose of Friends is two-fold:

  • to support this campus through annual giving
  • to help make new friends for IPFW by inviting guests to monthly programs and special events

These activities take place on the campus and highlight the faculty, staff, programs, and facilities which combine to make up the educational and cultural life of IPFW.

Friends

Life is sweet,
just because of the friends
we have made,
And the things which in common
we share;
We want to live on,
not because of ourselves,
But because of the people who care.
It's giving and doing
for somebody else -
On that, all life's splendor depends...
And the joy of this world,
when you've summed it all up,
Is found in the making of friends
