Our objective is to make friends for IPFW through monthly meetings, programs, special events, projects, and to raise funds for selected campus projects.
Membership
There are two categories of individual membership in the Friends, active and sustaining. Active membership carries with it the added pledge to help make friends for IPFW by inviting guests to meetings and special functions planned by Friends. Sustaining membership does not require additional responsibilities. All members are encouraged to participate in all of the activities of the organization.
Annual Dues
- Active Members $50
- Sustaining Members $100
One-half of this amount is deductible from your Indiana income tax.

Membership is open to men and women of all ages who are interested in Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne.
At the monthly meetings, we get acquainted with IPFW’s outstanding faculty who speak on topics of their special interests.

- 10:00 a.m.-Business Meeting
- 10:30 a.m.-Featured Speaker
- 11:30 a.m.-Lunch (by reservation)
Meetings are the third Monday in September, October, November, March, and April.
Meetings are held at the Holiday Inn at IPFW and the Coliseum. Our April meeting, which is the "Spring Finale" is specially presented to you by the College of Visual and Performing Arts at the John and Ruth Rhinehart Music Center.
- Get acquainted over coffee prior to each meeting.
- Special group events are sponsored at the campus.
- Optional lunches are provided with reservation and fee.
- Guests are welcome at all Friends events!
