International Students

IPFW International students in F-1 and J-1 status are required to purchase a different insurance through IPFW and MUST contact the Office of International Education at 1-260-481-6034 or via email at iss@ipfw.edu. The Office of International Education is located in Walb Union, room 145.

Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan Eligibility

All Undergraduate and Graduate students, excluding International students (please see information above), taking 6 or more credit hours are eligible to enroll in this Plan. Students must actively attend classes for at least the first 31 days after the date for which coverage is purchased. Home study, correspondence, internet and television (TV) courses do not fulfill the Eligibility requirements that the student actively attend classes.
