Caps and Gowns

Caps and gowns are to be worn by all candidates attending the Commencement Ceremony.

• Purchase your apparel from the IPFW Bookstore or on line through Herff Jones.  The price of the apparel goes up as we get closer to ceremony day.
• The cost of the apparel is payable at the time of order.
• Extra-large sizes must be special ordered. See details.  Don't wait until the last minute on these gowns.
• All fees are non-refundable.

Can I wear a friend's gown from a previous year?

• Recycled gowns may be worn if they match this year's style and color. Gowns must be checked in the bookstore or in the Academic Ceremonies office, 157 Kettler Hall.  Complete the Commencement Participation RSVP on line so we know you plan to attend.

Cap and gown details and pricing:

• You may place your order for apparel on line beginning January 2. 
• You may purchase your apparel in the bookstore beginning March 23.

Bookstore hours:

• Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Spring break week (March 10-16) the bookstore is open Monday through Thursday until 5 p.m., Friday until 1 p.m., and closed on Saturday.
