Adverse Weather

IPFW does not have weather delays. It is either open or closed. If you think IPFW may have declared an adverse-weather closing, listen to local radio or television announcements (including Comcast College Cable Access Channel 5), or call the campus weather emergency number 260-481-6050 or 260-481-5770, for a recorded message. Whenever possible, adverse-weather closings are announced by 6:30 a.m. for daytime classes and 3 p.m. for evening classes.

If no announcement is made, you should assume the campus is open. However, if you are concerned about the weather, it is ultimately your responsibility to consider the potential risks of traveling under possibly hazardous conditions. Please contact your instructor either through e-mail or voice mail and let him or her know your situation.
