Tutoring: The Spot Learning Center

Academic assistance is offered by peers that have been recommended by their professors to tutor courses they have completed. This pairing of peers helps to achieve a proven, student – directed learning environment. Interactive and multimedia assistance in study skills is also provided.

Tutoring Options

Tutoring begins the second week of each semester and ends the week before final examinations. There are two types of tutoring available: One-to-One and Drop-in.

All tutoring is in Kettler Hall, G21, (260)481-5419. Bring your class materials and questions for the tutor.

One-to-One Tutoring:

The tutoring service at IPFW is provided free of cost to IPFW students.  Students can have two hours of tutoring per week, per subject based on availability of tutors. Call (260)481-5419 or stop by Kettler Hall G21 if you do not find an available tutor on TutorTrac.

Drop-in Tutoring

Drop-in tutoring exists for immediate help with a question. Tutors answer a question, go to the next person and continue answering questions around the table. Additional questions can be asked when they return to you. Help is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Drop-in tutoring exists for high demand courses. Hours and subjects vary by semester. See the Drop-in schedule.

CASA Tutoring services are supported by Student Government.
