Supplemental Instruction (SI)

Supplemental Instruction Information

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an international program that offers peer-facilitated, group study sessions for historically difficult courses.

The sessions are lead by current IPFW students that have either taken the course or have a faculty recommendation to assist the course. These students also have a grade average higher than a B.

The goal of SI is to increase the number of passing grades and reduce the number of students who withdraw. We want YOU to succeed!

SI is open to ALL students in selected courses. Although you may not see your current instructor supported by an SI Leader, you are welcome to attend any SI session.  In the SI Session you learn how to study as well as what to learn.
