One hour appointment with a Career Counselor to talk about changing majors, resume writing, interviewing strategies, job searching or even exploring Graduate Schools.
"This fair addresses the desires of two groups: student leaders looking to showcase their organizations, professional skills, and leadership qualities & employers wanting to build stronger ties with them. Students will staff booths representing their student organizations and employers will mingle around the room, networking with them as they listen to their experiences gained as student leaders."

JobZone
JobZone is a free Web-based system used by IPFW to post job opportunities for students/alumni. JobZone allows you to:
Several career assessments are available to help you learn about your personality, measured interests, and preferences for various work environments. These assessments can help you understand how your interests, skills, and work values relate to different occupations. A meeting with a career counselor will help you determine which assessments and resource are right for you.
EDUC X210 is a two-credit hour, 16-week course taught in the fall that focuses on in-depth self assessment, occupational exploration, career decision making, and experiential learning through networking with current professionals. At the end of the semester students have either chosen a major or narrowed down their options to 2/3 possibilities.
EDUC X310 is a two-credit hour, 16-week course taught in the spring that focuses on transitioning out of college, job search and grad school application strategies, interviewing techniques, and increasing an overall awareness of career options for every major. By the end of the semester each student will have created a professional portfolio and career search action plan.
If you are anxious about the interviewing process or just want to refine your skills, arrange a mock interview or videotaped mock interview with a career counselor. You will receive valuable feedback that will help you pinpoint your strengths and weaknesses.
