Save the date for this exciting Career Fair! Thursday, March 28, 2013, 2-5pm
Finally-a chance to STAND ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TABLE! Showcase the professional and leadership skills you’ve gained to employers. At this fair, student leaders will set up booths and employers will approach the tables.
HOW WILL I PREPARE?
There will be required prep sessions in video format we will email to you to prepare you and your booth. It will also be REQUIRED for everyone attending to meet with a career counselor to polish your resume.
REVERSE Career Fair Flier
WHO:
The Reverse Career Fair is open to student leaders who are part of IPFW affiliated groups. Please only register ONE person per group along with your advisor. Your group will be held responsible for arranging time slots to stand at the table during the fair. We suggest at least 2, no more than 5 at a time.
*If you are involved with more than one group, you can choose how you will spend that time either by breaking it up between groups, or staying with one group the entire time; remember, this can be a part of your conversation with employers and listed on your resume if you choose to stay at one table.
YOU WILL RECEIVE:
A table, light refreshments in the "Federated Insurance & IPSGA Student Hospitality Room," attending list of companies, training for fair, and the opportunity to market yourself and the skills you have gained as part of your student involvement.
FIRST 45 TO REGISTER WILL RECEIVE:
A printed display that features a full-color banner you will design and aluminum frame stand. If registered after this number, you may order this at www.postupstand.com or www.esigns.com. Accounting Society
The purpose and goals of the Accounting Society are to prepare students for professional roles in accounting and the business world. This is achieved by way of educating and networking with business professionals.
Active Minds
Active Minds is a nationally known group and a newly formed student group at IPFW. The group works to provide support to individuals with behavioral disorders by offering resources and erasing the stigma associated with mental illness.
Amateur Radio Club
The Amateur Radio Club teaches the practical application of radio theory, electrical theory, and procedures. Its purpose is to study the aspects of modern amateur radio and how it is used in emergency and worldwide communications.
Anthropology Club
Anthropology Club is an organization on the IPFW campus that holds a variety of activities intended to stimulate and encourage interest and involvement of the student body and local community in Anthropology.
Chi Alpha
Chi Alpha is a group of men and women who passionately purse Jesus. We work together to lead and invest in others life's, helping them to honor Christ with their life choices.
Circle K International
Circle K International (CKI) is the collegiate level of Kiwanis International. Students are responsible citizens and leaders with a lifelong commitment to community service.
Dean of Students Diplomats
Deans Diplomats are peer leaders engaging the IPFW community by promoting the principles of civility, academic integrity, ethics and responsible freedom, and student rights and responsibilities through informal discussion and structured presentations.
Delta Sigma Pi
Delta Sigma Pi is a co-ed professional business fraternity at IPFW. Our fraternity has three main goals: professionalism, community service, and social activity. Our combination of these three goals provides a great experience for future business leaders.

German Club
I represent the IPFW German Club. We're an organization which focuses on promoting German language, culture, and academics on the IPFW campus. We meet a few times per month to do German-themed activities.
International Student Organization (ISO)
The purpose of ISO is to bridge the connection between international students and those born and raised in the United States. We want to introduce international students to the American culture through trips, events, and activities. While at the same time introducing American students to the different cultures present at IPFW.
IPFW Peer Educators
IPFW Peer Educators are H2O. They provide help and health to others. HEART: Helpful, Educate Students, Activists of Health, Role Models of Health, and Work as a Team. During the whole school year they provide educational programming related to mental health, tobacco prevention/cessation, healthy relationships, responsible alcohol use, healthy eating , and fitness.
IPFW Ski and Snowboard Club
We are the skiiers and snowboarders of IPFW. Our goal is to get students out to the local hills and west once a year. Social gatherings and skiiing/snowboarding are the keys to our success.

MAC Peer Advisors
The Peer Advisors are student workers who work for the Mastodon Advising Center and help to foster a comfortable learning environment by helping students explore their academic options. The Peer Advisors interact with faculty, staff and fellow students by engaging in activities from academics, such as co-teaching Freshman Success classes, conducting drop-in appointments, conducting checkup appointments, to extracurricular events such as hosting ice-cream socials.
MBA Graduate Assistants of IPFW
Representing international students from 5 different countries.
M.E.H. (Mastodon Entainment Hub)
Our goal at M.E.H is to design a show that IPFW students will watch to receive information about campus events and current pop culture. This is the shows first season and is run by all students. The students use their own ideas and are responsible for creating the content. Members of the club are interested in filming, editing, writing, forming news packages, as well as working on IPFW student interviews such as basketball players, and Miss Indiana.
Mobile Application Developers Club (MAD)
We focus on the learning and development of iOS, Android and Mobile Web based software applications.
Public Policy Student Association
The IPFW Public Policy Student Association is a student-run organization which assists in providing public policy students with opportunities for academic advancement, leadership and professional development. The group also acts as a mechanism to improve relationships between students and faculty, and helps students network with potential employers in their field.
Society for Human Resource Management
The student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management is a group dedicated to promoting the HR profession. Through professional connections, our team has helped students engage professional development through networking events and real world projects. We encourage students of all majors, but are supported by the office of Organizational Leadership and Supervision at IPFW.
STARS Representatives
STARs work closely with the Admissions office in promoting IPFW through student involvement in a variety of recruitment and development activities. STARs are our official student public relations group, representing the IPFW campus in the community and in college outreach programs.

As winner of the ‘Building Block Award’ for superior contributions to the IPFW community and as one of the most active student organizations at IPFW, Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow (STAT) provides its members with experiences that enhance their education; pride in IPFW and being a 'Don; and opportunities to connect with alumni, faculty, staff, and students.
The Big Heart Club
Our Group, The Big Heart Club, is a club with the goal of inspiring volunteerism. It is our goal to enlighten the surrounding community and student body to the benefits of volunteering. As well as encouraging a continuing regimen of volunteering. We believe that a community is not whole unless it is able to help all those in need. This requires a selfless group of outstanding individuals who are willing to fill the positions needed without seeking anything in return. It is our goal to supply these individuals through inspiring events that combine the community of Fort Wayne and the campus of IPFW.
The Communication and Media Society (CMS)
The Communication and Media Society (CMS) was founded in 2010 with the purpose of garnering a greater appreciation for the communication studies discipline and associated job fields on the IPFW campus. Since then the CMS has partnered with a number of other campus groups to fulfill this mission through facilitating special events featuring expert panel, guest speakers, and volunteer activities.
The Spanish Club
The Spanish Club of IPFW has the goals of learning about Hispanic cultures, practicing the Spanish language, and developing contacts with other people involved or interested in Spanish.
The Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society
The Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society is a student run organization with the objectives of providing students interested in chemistry with the opportunity to become better acquainted, to stimulate the intellectual curiosity that arises from professional association, to foster a professional spirit among the members, and to instill a professional pride in chemistry. Chemistry Club meetings are held monthly for event planning and often feature guest speakers from area businesses.
Young Americans for Liberty
Young Americans for Liberty advocates a return to a constitutionally limited government, a sound monetary policy, a sensible foreign policy of neutrality, a truly free-market economy, and deep respect for civil liberties. Through education and activism, we seek to create an informed and principled youth.
