Information Specialist

As Information Specialist, Joan is responsible for the following:

• Acts as the front line contact for the programs and services of the office
• Assists with the career and internship fairs
• Creates and updates Career Services web pages
• Designs and updates forms and other Career Services literature
• Schedules career appointments and collaborates with the career counselors on special projects

Joan became part of Career Services in 1999. Joan also worked at the University of Saint Francis in the Career Office for 8 years as the Secretary. Over the years, Joan has thoroughly enjoyed helping college students with their career goals. Prior to working in Higher Education, she was the Office Manager for 8 years at Lady Bug Exterminators.
