Heartbreaking yet uplifting, The Exonerated delves into the repercussions of six innocents who were convicted and placed on death row and served time for someone else’s crime. Socially relevant, it’s about ordinary people caught in a nightmare where justice and jurisprudence didn't see eye to eye. A play that could easily be about anger and revenge, and those feelings do come into play, The Exonerated proves to be an evening about strength, hope, redemption and forgiveness. The monks will begin creating the sand mandala Monday, Oct. 30, at 9:30 a.m. in Walb Student Union, Room 114. On Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 9:30 a.m. there will be a news conference and ceremonial dissolution of the sand painting.
