Local High School Students in IPFW’s Upward Bound Program Attend Conference at Notre Dame

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Allen County high school students involved in Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne’s (IPFW’s) Upward Bound program were recent presenters at a leadership conference held at Notre Dame University in South Bend.
The Upward Bound Student Leadership team, known as the BLUE Stars (Building Leadership and Unity through Excellence) made a presentation on the topic “The Value of Your Education.”
BLUE leadership Team members at the conference were:
• Brenda Diaz, New Haven High School
• Ernesto Sandoval, Leo High School
• Janette Patino-Ramirez, Wayne High School
• Staisy Cardenas, South Side High School
• Ismael Aldave, South Side High School
• Alyssa Luna, North Side High School
After making their presentation, the students toured the campus.
