FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Lunch with an IPFW Scientist at Science Central, Saturday, April 14, will examine the science of both bones and radiography when Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiography Amanda Brown presents “Name that Bone.”
Brown will present some images of x-rays and ask participants to try to name the bone or type of x-ray. She will have some actual bones for the participants to touch along with some other items that radiographers use on a daily basis.

The Lunch with an IPFW Scientist Series is designed for families with children aged 8 to 14; it plants in both the young and most seasoned participant a budding interest in science. After each presentation, which includes a hands-on activity, participants enjoy lunch with the presenter. Advance reservations are required.
