FORT WAYNE, Ind.—High-tech startup companies interested in taking part in the Interns for Indiana project face a March 6, 2013, deadline. Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) is looking for companies to participate in the program that assists startups by matching them with high quality undergraduate student interns.
Companies accepted into the Interns for Indiana summer program are matched with juniors and seniors at IPFW and other Purdue campuses who work a minimum of 400 hours during the summer session, and who receive a stipend of $4,500 for successful participation.

The Interns for Indiana program is partially funded by the Lilly Endowment Inc. Companies are required to provide a $2,000 membership fee to help cover a portion of student and program costs.
