FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The NICE (Northeast Indiana Career Enrichment) Career Fair has been bringing students, alumni, and prospective employers together for more than two decades. It will do so again, Thursday, April 11, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Athletics Center Fieldhouse on the campus of Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW).
Organizers expect to have at least 80 employers and 170 recruiters at the event, which will feature job openings with local and national employers with full- and part-time positions as well as internships.
The NICE Career Fair is the result of collaborations between the following institutions of higher education in northeast Indiana:
“We are honored to host the largest fair in northeast Indiana; serving the students and alumni is very special to us as we look to fortify relationships with our local business community and beyond. Being partnered with seven other great institutions in this area leads to more and better opportunities to collaborate with people of like minds and aspirations and to be a better asset to the area at large,” said Josiah Brown, assistant director for employer services in IPFW’s Office of Career services.
The event is open to students and alumni of the affiliated institutions; students are asked to bring their IDs so an accurate count of participating students can be taken. The general public is also welcome to attend.
