FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne’s (IPFW’s) College of Arts and Science UC2 program and the Remnant Trust will host a panel discussion, “Great Books, Liberal Education, and Democracy,” Tuesday, October 23, at 7 p.m. in the Learning Commons located on the second floor of Helmke Library.
Panelists will be Indiana Third District Congressman Marlin Stutzman; Elliot Bartky, associate professor of political science; and Joyce Lazier, continuing lecturer in the Department of Philosophy. They will discuss the connections between great books, a liberal education, and democracy.
The event is free and open to the public.
