IPFW Announces Major Scholarship Recipients

April 02, 2013 FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) is pleased to announce the 2013–14 Chapman Scholars and the 2013–14 Doermer Distinguished Scholar. To be eligible for either of these awards, the student must first be a recipient of a Chancellor’s Distinguished Scholarship and then must take part in the Summit Scholars competition, which was held in February.

Rhodes Scholar to Speak to IPFW Students

March 29, 2013 FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Adam Levine, a Rhodes Scholar and Mellon Fellow, will visit the Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) campus Tuesday, April 2, 2013. The purpose of his visit is to work with the Honors Freshman Colloquium class by sharing his experiences in applying for and being named a Rhodes Scholar.

Electromagnetic Applications Workshop Rescheduled for Two Area High Schools

March 29, 2013 FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Ten students each from Lakeland and Columbia City High Schools will take part in workshops featuring electromagnetic applications Monday, April 8. The two schools were originally scheduled to attend the workshops Monday, March 25, but due to inclement weather, their schools were closed and the workshops had to be rescheduled. The Monday, April 1 workshop with Eastbrook High School will take place as scheduled.
