Master of Social Work

We are glad you are interested in joining our MSW program on the IPFW campus.  Our three year, part-time evening program started a new cohort (class of students) in August 2011.  We begin a new cohort every three years, the next to start fall 2014.  Currently, we are only accepting applications for Advanced Standing status.  Graduates of accredited Bachelor of Social Work programs from 2007 or later may apply to join this cohort in summer 2012.  Advanced Standing students will have classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 8:40 pm at IPFW.  Students will also be required to take summer courses in order to complete the degree in three years.  They will complete their MSW degrees with the class in May 2014.  The application deadline is January 13, 2012.

If you do not wish to delay entering the MSW program, you may consider applying to the evening program at our IU South Bend campus or commuting to IUPUI in Indianapolis where Saturday classes are offered for the first two years of the part-time program.
