From Cleopatra to Clinton: Sex Scandals through the Ages

General David Petraeus's recent sex scandal generated national headlines, but he was not the first prominent political leader to come under close scrutiny for his extra-marital interests and activities.

In honor of Valentine's Day, Suzanne LaVere, Jeff Malanson, and David Schuster, faculty members in the Department of History, discussed sex and scandal throughout history. Topics of discussion included Cleopatra, Henry VIII, Alexander Hamilton, Andrew Jackson, Aimee Semple McPherson, and Bill Clinton.
