Dental Education
Floyd R. Neff Dental Scholarship
Criteria
Students must be currently enrolled in the dental assisting, dental hygiene or dental laboratory technology program and must have successfully completed at least one semester with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Students must display evidence of scholarship, leadership, initiative and financial need. A personal essay and two letters of recommendation are required.
Submit the IPFW Common Scholarship application, and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) so that it is received at the federal processors by March 10.

Dental Hygiene
Patricia Cook Hayduk Dental Hygiene II Scholarship
Criteria
Student must be a currently-enrolled IPFW student in the Dental Hygiene I program preparing to become a Dental Hygiene II student in the subsequent year. Student must be a resident of Indiana currently residing in, or if living on campus, formerly residing in Adams, Allen, Bartholomew, Brown, DeKalb, Elkhart, Fulton, Howard, Huntington, Jasper, Jay, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Lake, Marshall, Monroe, Newton, Noble, Porter, LaPorte, Marion, Pulaski, Starke, St. Joseph, Steuben, Tippecanoe, Vanderburgh, Wabash, Wayne, Wells, or Whitley County. The student must carry a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.70 at the time of application. The applicant, in the opinion of IPFW dental hygiene faculty, will exhibit leadership, compassion, and enthusiasm for dental hygiene, with strong clinical and patient education skills.

Health Services Scholarships
The scholarships listed here are administered by IPFW.
William D. Perry, M.D. Memorial Scholarship
Criteria
Student must be pursuing a degree or certificate program within the College of Health Sciences or in the Department of Public Policy, public health program. Awards will be made based on merit. Student must enroll in a minimum of six credits. Selection of a recipient alternates between Health and Human Services and Public Policy. For 2012 - 2013, the Health and Human Services Department will be selecting a recipient.

Human Services Scholarships
Betty Dykstra Scholarship
Criteria
Student must have junior status in the Human Services bachelor's degree program. Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5. Students with demonstrated financial need may be considered first. Student must have demonstrated a commitment to the human services field.

Nursing Scholarships
The scholarships listed here are administered by IPFW.
May Connard Alexander Memorial Scholarship
Criteria
Student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and be enrolled as a Nursing major with the expectation of completing the Baccalaureate Nursing program. Student must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours during the period the student is awarded the funds. Student must be enrolled in or have completed a class in Community Health or Public Health Nursing. This scholarship is restricted to tuition/fees only.

Mary F. Hyman Scholarship for Nursing
Criteria
Student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and be enrolled in a second year (200-level) or higher clinical nursing course. Student must have taken or be enrolled in a course that will count toward a B.S. in Nursing degree.

Criteria
Must be enrolled at IPFW as an undergraduate or graduate Nursing student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours each semester. Student must be in good standing. Student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Awarding of this scholarship is based on merit and financial need.
