The Chancellor's scholarships are awarded to incoming freshman who meet specific criteria. No application is required, students who qualify will be notified by the IPFW Admissions office.
There are three types of Chancellor's Scholarships: Chancellor's Distinguished Scholarship, Chancellor's Scholarship and Chancellor's Merit Scholarship. A student may only receive one type of Chancellor's Scholarship.

Full tuition scholarship awarded annually and renewable each year up to four years, based on criteria listed below.
Criteria
No scholarship application is required.
Awards require full-time enrollment (minimum of 12 credit hours each semester) in Fall and Spring semesters, with no break in enrollment. This award may be used for summer school. For summer school only, the enrollment does not have to be full-time.
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 is required for renewal at the conclusion of the first year of attendance only. Thereafter, a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 is required. Grades for renewal are only checked at the end of spring semester each year.
Awards are limited to four years of enrollment, with no break in enrollment periods (students are not required to enroll in summer).
A student may only receive one type of Chancellor's Scholarship.
Not available to students currently or previously enrolled at IPFW.
Awards commence in Fall semester.

The Chancellor's Merit Award is intended to increase diversity in the IPFW student body. Awards are available for beginning IPFW students who are U.S. citizens classified as non-Indiana residents. Students receiving the awards may attend IPFW at in-state costs for tuition and fees. Awards may be available for beginning IPFW graduate students who are non-Indiana residents.
An international student coming to IPFW as a beginning IPFW student, must have scored a minimum of 600 on the TOEFL if the test was paper-based, or a minimum of 87 if the TOEFL was internet-based, or a 7.0 on the IELTS. International students must also ask the IPFW Office of International Education to recommend them for scholarship consideration. 25 scholarships are available to international students.
