IPFW has programs in civil, computer, electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering. The faculty members are actively engaged in research and projects in all of these areas. They are working primarily within nine research labs and on government-funded grants and industry-sponsored projects—the total level of external support is over $500K per year. In 2010, faculty produced over 70 refereed or invited publications and numerous other technical reports.
Highly-qualified undergraduate students have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research with a faculty member as part of a curriculum-embedded undergraduate research experience (CEM-URE). For more information see this flier and application form.
