Department History

July 1st, 2011:
The Information Systems program returned to the Department of Computer Science.

August 23rd, 2004:
The Computer Science Bachelor of Science program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET.

On this date, there were only about 200 accredited programs out of the 1000+ computer science programs nationwide.

Summer 2004:
The Computer Science Department has relocated after 30 years in Kettler Hall to the Engineering and Technology Building, Suite 125.
