Faculty, staff, and students from CEIT and Theta Tau fraternity volunteered at the Community Harvest Food Bank on Saturday, March 23 as part of IPFW's Big Event.
About volunteering, Allan Burris shared, “ I sometimes take for granted that I always have the opportunity to eat whenever I want.”
“The best part was when I started walking down the line and passing out items. It was great to see how people appreciated/reacted to it. My friend Archie used to work with one of the guys that went through the line. It hit me right then that it can happen to any one of us.”
“I volunteer because I love to see how it affects people and to serve the Lord. Also, it feels great to be able to help someone, even if it’s indirectly. “
