Perhaps you have been to our campus recently and enjoyed the new buildings on the rise of what use to be the old McKay farm. Maybe you have sat in the new Rhinehart Music Center in awe of its grandeur. All of this has been made possible because of people like you.

The College of Visual and Performing Arts provides an exceptional educational opportunity for our students. With your help over the last few years we:

• We sent students to national competitions and conferences such as the American College Theatre Festival, American College Dance Festival, Indiana Music Educator’s Conference (IMEA), and the National Council on Education in Ceramic Arts (NCECA) National Convention.
• We supported individual and ensemble performances at Operafestival di Roma, IMEA Conference and national and regional tours, including Brush Up Your Shakespeare.
• Help students study abroad in England, Italy, and Japan.
• We presented 67 plays, recitals, concerts, lectures, and art exhibits last year and had over 10,000 attendees.
• Produced Arts Weekly Northeast Indiana's arts television program.

There are all kinds of ways to support on college in these activities and others and we reach out into the community to make IPFW an even greater place to go to school.

Indiana State Tax Credit

Indiana taxpayers may take a tax credit of half their gift to IPFW. This credit is available even if the taxpayer does not itemize deductions on the federal return. The tax credit directly reduces the “bottom line” of the state income tax return, either decreasing the amount owed or increasing the refund.

For a joint return, the maximum credit is $200 (based on a gift of $400 or more); for a single return, the maximum credit is $100 (for a gift of $200 or more). Other rules apply, so read the CC-40 instructions carefully or consult your tax advisor.

The CC-40 tax form is available at locations that stock other Indiana tax forms. Also, you may download the form from the Indiana Department of Revenue or call IPFW at 260-481-6962 to request that a CC-40 form be mailed to you.
