All Department of Theatre degree programs offer a balanced blend of liberal-arts education and theatre core courses.
The Bachelor of Arts program is for students who seek careers in theatre or theatre-related arts. All theatre bachelor's degree students complete a common core of theatre studies. Concentrations are available in acting, directing, and design/technology. Each concentration requires additional special courses.

The theatre minor is available to all IPFW students who have an interest in theatre by completing 24 hours of specific theatre courses. Additionally, students acquiring a teaching certificate in other fields may earn a theatre minor by completing 24 specified credit hours in the department.
