Pi Mu Epsilon is a National Mathematics Honor Society.
The purpose of PME is the promotion of scholarly activity in mathematics among the students in academic institutions.
The local chapter at IPFW is the Indiana Zeta chapter, established in 2003.
The 2013 installation ceremony was April 28, with Prof. Dan Coroian, speaking on The Transit of Venus and why it was one of the most important events in science history.
