Research Interests

• My area of concentration is 19th and 20th century Peninsular literature. I focus on the Spanish Civil War and the literature produced by the exiles of the period. In particular, I study the exilic autobiographies of XXth century Spanish Women Writers. I focus on the experience of exile and how it acts as a catalyst for a redefinition of the self.
