Geosciences Department

Earn Your Degree in Geosciences.Allen County DEM

The Department of Geosciences offers a Bachelor of Arts (the only Natural Science Bachelors of Arts on the campus) and a Bachelor of Science with an available option in Environmental Geology.

Students who like science but do not expect to make a career as a geologist will be interested in the Bachelors of Arts. Employers will find your technical background in a science major a definite plus. You might want to think about a Bachelors of Arts in Geology with a minor in Business Studies. It is a great undergraduate combination.

The Bachelors of Science is the right degree if you want to work as a professional geologist or environmental scientist.

We'll give you the background for solving real problems in graduate school and the workplace.
