Advising & Academics

The COAS academic advising office can help you plan your academic program, suggest enrichment opportunities, check your progress toward a degree, provide information on transfer credits, explain academic policies and requirements, handle major and minor change requests, and more!

Follow the links below for more information:

The advisors have access to your academic records, and they can also refer you to other campus services for special assistance. If you are a transfer student, it is especially important to meet with a COAS advisor in your first semester at IPFW to ensure that your credits transfer properly; after this initial meeting you will be moved to an advisor in your degree's department.
