The Tapestry Parkview Health Sciences Scholarship was established in 2002 to provide merit based scholarships to Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) students in the College of Health and Human Services. The recipients shall have high academic standards; commitment to high quality professional service; demonstrated responsibility for their own actions and education; and strong involvement in community and professional activities.
Up to $39,000 in awards are available for the 2012-2013 academic year. Scholarship monies may be used for tuition and fees and will be deposited directly into the recipients bursar accounts. Therefore, this program is only pen to students who will be continuing in their program through spring 2013, not students graduating spring, summer, or fall 2012.
Selection of recipients shall be based on recommendation of a committee of faculty members appointed by the Dean of the College of Health and Human Services with the approval of the Tapestry Scholarship Committee. Scholarship administration will be completed by Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne Financial Aid Services.
Selection will only be made if qualified candidates can be identified. Scholarships will be awarded based on merit rather than financial need.
Tapestry: A Day for You will be held Friday, April 27, 2012 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. The scholarship winners are expected to attend and will be recognized on stage during the lunch program. A certificate will be given. The recipients names also will be displayed on a permanent plaque in the College of Health and Human Services. Registration for the scholarship recipient to attend the event will be complimentary.

Sisterhood of Justice $1000 Scholarships will be awarded during the spring semester. Applications will be available January 2011 at www.cfwsinc.com.
An IPFW female student who is committed to social justice as evident through course work, service work or career; has a 3.0 GPA or higher; and has taken a Women's Studies class or is currently enrolled in one.
The Sisterhood of Justice is a group of women originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Started in high school in 1994, today the women work locally and globally in education, health care, finance, and the arts. They actively give to and participate in programs that support women, children, the arts, and social justice.

The Financial Aid office at IPFW administers a wide variety of scholarships annually for IPFW students. Many are based on both financial need and academic achievement. All awards are dependent on availability of funds each year.
