Overview of the Nursing Skills Lab and Simulation Center

The Nursing Skills Lab (LA 308) is available for skill practice by appoiintment, as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.  Opportunities for student group discussion is possible in the Faculty and Student Lounge (LA 312), which is open for students unless occupied by faculty for meetings.  Nursing reference textbooks and one computer station (without a printer) are available in LA 312.  Nursing faculty and laboratory personnel are available from 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday in the Lounge and Skills Lab. 

A Nursing Simulation Center (LA 3rd floor) is used to assess student psychomotor skills and promote clinical reasoning through human patient simulation.
